utopias

Well in the book I think their utopia is bad. I think it is bad because they don't get to experiance any thing and they don't get to choose any thing. They don't have feelings and they cant see colors. Everything in their community is chosen for them. In our lives we can chose pretty much anything but choices have good conciquences or bad conciquinces. They also don't know what pain and joy is. There are some good things about their community like their is no war, poverty, or hunger. But they kill more people than they would in a war because of releases. I also think that is unfair that they make one person bear all the memories of the world and that the giver and receiver are the only ones with memories. I think that everyone should share the memories instead of two people. I also wonder why they went to samenes because they have no snow and no sun and no color. Their community is pretty much dull and they are all like robots. So over all no I do not think their community is good. But it would be if they added color memories, sun and no releasing.
