I cry when I smell onions

holiday break

Over the holiday we did lots of fun stuff. The week of christmas we pretty much stayed home most of the time. Then my grandparents came up to see us a few days before Christmas. We went and saw the movie Tron with them. Then we went to my aunts house where all my aunts and uncles were. Then on Christmas eve we got to open our presents from our grandparents. One of my presents was socks and this will suprise you but I actually thought they were one of the best presents I got because they were fuzzy socks and they were really warm and cozy. They made me want to fall asleep every time I wore them. I feel sleepy just talking about them......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Then on christmas I got another pair from my mom. The only bad thing is that it tracks all the crap thats on the floor especially all the christmas goodies we got. Oh yah thats another thing we got. Lots of treats from all of our neighbors and friends. We went and delivered a bunch of treats to our friends and then every person that got treats from us gave us some back too. On Christmas we got a bunch of cool presents. One of the best ones is a foosball table. We played it for hours. We also got a wii, 2 rc's, a computer game called grid and a racing wheel for it. Everyone got lots of stuff. Oh yah and before my grandparents left we took them to ihop for breakfast.

utopias

Well in the book I think their utopia is bad. I think it is bad because they don't get to experiance any thing and they don't get to choose any thing. They don't have feelings and they cant see colors. Everything in their community is chosen for them. In our lives we can chose pretty much anything but choices have good conciquences or bad conciquinces. They also don't know what pain and joy is. There are some good things about their community like their is no war, poverty, or hunger. But they kill more people than they would in a war because of releases. I also think that is unfair that they make one person bear all the memories of the world and that the giver and receiver are the only ones with memories. I think that everyone should share the memories instead of two people. I also wonder why they went to samenes because they have no snow and no sun and no color. Their community is pretty much dull and they are all like robots. So over all no I do not think their community is good. But it would be if they added color memories, sun and no releasing.

Cars and trucks

One of my favorite things are cars and trucks. Ever since I was little they fascinated me. I would just sit on our front lawn and watch the cars go by and the construction trucks across the street. I also used to collect those little hotwheels cars. Today i still love cars and my favorite video games are the car ones. When ever I go to an arcade I would play the car games even though they dont give you tickets. My favorite one are the need for speed series.

Football

This year I played my second year of tackle for AF. Our team this year was way better then my team last year. Last year my team only one 1 game. This year my coaches were really good and fun. Also my team this year did lots of parties and team dinners the night before our games. Our first game we lost to the Westlake B team. Then we won all of our other games untill the play offs. Then we lost to the PG team we had beat before. It was disapointing.
